We've been thrust into the cold winter weather here this past month. It's difficult to believe it's time of year again--the sun's fading earlier, the evenings are longer, and the cold is quieting the natural world around us. But oh, we were blessed with a really lovely warm spot this past Saturday! We had a crisp, sunny November day and it couldn't have been better for an outdoor family shoot. I've had the privileged of photographing this sweet family a few times now--Amanda knows the value of documenting her growing family. They are always a joy to be with, but I was especially excited to meet their newest little member this time. With her laid-back and pleasant demeanor, Hannah fits in just beautifully. Thanks again, Amanda and Jeremy! I had a wonderful time walking around with you four, capturing a snapshot of this very precious season in your family's life. Enjoy some of my favorites...

We wrapped up our wedding year this past weekend and we couldn't have ended with a better wedding--truly! Sure, the weather could have been a little nicer (we were up against rain, hail, and surprisingly cold temperatures), but we really couldn't have asked for a more incredible couple to finish off our season. Samantha and Chris are some of the kindest, funniest, and most loving people! You know you're photographing a pretty amazing wedding when, at the end of the reception, the bride and groom take the stage and toast their parents with a hilarious song parody. Or when the groom then takes over the microphone along with his friends to serenade his new wife. This wedding was filled to the brim with character, joy, and laughter. We were blessed to be a part of it! Thank you so much, Chris & Sam, for trusting us to capture everything. We had a wonderful time documenting your incredible day. Much love and gratitude to you both!
Don't let these faces fool you--it was freezing! But Sam has some amazing friends; these girls were absolutely wonderful!
Finally married!! After their beautiful Greek Orthodox ceremony, Sam and Chris exited the historic Grove
City College Harbison Chapel to almost-frozen bubbles. :) But a little cold couldn't keep these two down!
Sam and Chris's families hosted a lovely reception at Tiffany's, complete with Greek music and dancing!
